the main two i have tried are the ones with “salat al-fatih” of Sayyid Tijani, and the one recommended by Imam Nawawi, which is two rak’as on friday-eve followed by 1000 salawat, and also i’ve tried the “yaqutiyya” of Muhammad al-Fasi al-Shadhuli.
as for whether i have seen him, i have (3 times) but never in his common complete form, there was always some kind of obstruction or some kind of way he looked different (alayhi salat wa salam), which – according to that list provided – means im deficient in my taqwa and need more purity.

When we did the Shama’il with Shaykh Muhammad I saw him and I saw shortly before going to the Rihla in Medina last year… I don’t know what they mean though *shrug*
